Tentative Itinerary

Arrival in Paris & Scenic Transfer to Angers by train or bus

Day 1

  • Upon your arrival at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, you will be warmly received by our representative, who will guide you to your transfer for the onward journey to Angers, the historic gateway to the Loire Valley.

  • Your journey to Angers introduces you to the gentle landscapes of western France—rolling fields, vineyards, charming rural villages, and the broad Loire River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Upon reaching Angers, you will be received by your respective families. Free day to aquint with your french families and diner.

French Language Immersion & First Discovery of Angers

  • start your immersion at the French language school, where you will attend a 3-hour class designed to build conversational skills and cultural understanding.

  • Afternoon : After lunch begin exploring Angers, a city once the seat of the powerful Dukes of Anjou.

Day 2

  • The imposing Château d’Angers, a medieval fortress built in the 9th century and later expanded in the 13th century. Its massive slate-and-limestone towers dominate the skyline.

  • The charming medieval streets lined with half-timbered houses.

  • The lively Place du Ralliement, the city’s social heart, surrounded by theatres and cafés.

  • After breakfast, continue your 3-hour French class, deepening your vocabulary and communication skills.

  • Afternoon: After lunch discover Angers’ artistic and cultural treasures.

Day 3

Language Classes & Artistic Heritage of Angers

  • This afternoon offers you a harmonious introduction to Angers’ artistic soul.

Day 4

Language Classes & Medieval Masterpieces

  • After breakfast, attend your next 3-hour session at the language school.

  • Afternoon: After lunch dive deeper into Angers’ medieval past, including a visit to:

  • The world-famous Apocalypse Tapestry, one of the greatest artistic achievements of the Middle Ages.

  • The Maison d’Adam, a spectacular 15th-century half-timbered house adorned with carved wooden figures representing medieval symbols and characters.

  • The peaceful Jardin du Mail, a beautifully designed French garden perfect for moments of relaxation.

Language Classes & Contemporary Angers

Day 5

  • After breakfast, head to the school for another 3-hour French program, reinforcing everything you’ve learned so far.

  • Afternoon: Experience the modern side of Angers. The city is known for its innovative spirit and excellent quality of life.

  • Angers offers a perfect blend of history and modernity, and this afternoon allows you to appreciate its contemporary lifestyle.

Final Day of French Classes & Personal Exploration

Day 6

  • After breakfast, enjoy your final 3-hour French lesson, concluding your immersive linguistic experience.

  • Afternoon: Your last afternoon in Angers is dedicated to personal discoveries. You may choose to:

  • Visit a local food market, where vendors proudly present regional specialties such as rillauds, fouaces, and artisanal cheeses.

  • Explore the La Doutre district, known for its ancient convents, artists’ studios, and a village-like atmosphere on the west bank of the Maine River.

  • Take an optional boat ride (if operating) to view the city from the water.

  • This final day in Angers allows you to enjoy the city in your own way, creating memories at your own pace.

Angers / Puy du Fou / Angers (excursion)

  • After breakfast, depart from Angers for an unforgettable full-day excursion to the world-famous Puy du Fou, located in the heart of the Vendée region.

Day 7

  • Upon arrival, step directly into a world where centuries collide. The park’s impressive shows feature breathtaking sets, exceptional storytelling, and hundreds of actors, horses, birds of prey, and special effects that create a truly cinematic atmosphere.

  • Le Signe du Triomphe – A Roman amphitheater spectacle featuring gladiators, dramatic chariot races, and the blazing intensity of the ancient arena.

  • Les Vikings – A thrilling reenactment of a Viking invasion, complete with explosive stunts, acrobatics, and daring choreography.

  • Le Bal des Oiseaux Fantômes – A poetic and captivating show featuring eagles, owls, vultures, and exotic birds performing in harmony with music and medieval storytelling.

  • Le Secret de la Lance – A medieval knight’s tale presented with remarkable equestrian performances, sword fights, and dazzling special effects.

Angers ➜ Paris by Bus – Arrival in the French Capital

Day 8

  • After breakfast its time to say good by to your french hosts and board your bus to Paris.

  • Upon arrival in Paris, check in at your hotel

  • The rest of the day is free for you to rest after the journey or begin exploring the city on foot.

Paris – la ville lumière

Day 9

  • After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing of Paris. This is your opportunity to explore the city of light

You will visit :

  • The iconic Eiffel Tower and its surrounding Champ-de-Mars gardens

  • The Champs-Élysées, leading to the Arc de Triomphe

  • The Louvre Museum, home to masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa and the Winged Victory,

  • The island heart of Paris: Île de la Cité and the exterior of Notre-Dame Cathedral

  • A cruise ride on the Saine River in a famous “Bateau Mouche”

Departure from Paris

Day 10

  • After breakfast, enjoy free time depending on your flight schedule—perhaps a last walk to a nearby boulangerie or a final visit to a Parisian bookstore.

  • Later, transfer to Paris Airport for your flight back home.

  • You leave France with a deeper understanding of its language, heritage, and way of life—along with wonderful memories of both Angers and Paris.
